Compare Colors & Shades

There are a lot of tools out there for working with colors on web pages, some of them very slick. This one is pretty basic, but it is great for visualizing how colors look against each other, and for comparing shades.

Enter a color in hex, RGB or try a color name (a chart of named colors is here). It will derive a complementary color, and display some related shades. Any other secondary color can also be entered.
